屏東內埔昌黎祠是南部六堆客家文化的象徵。韓愈貶潮,崇儒興教,蔚起人文,功在潮地。宋時潮人興祠紀念,香火不斷。清代客家先民移民至台,於南部形成六堆族群地區。嗣後,自原鄉移植文化來台,昌黎祠因此建立,負起地方文教責任,為民間私塾形式,道光年間創建後,配合科舉會之資助,育成了不少進士、舉人,也獲得其回饋。清末廢科舉,新式學校興起,昌黎祠只剩下祭祀的功能。日治時期更險遭禁錮焚毀,幸為佛教徒劉玉妹救護,一生反佛的韓愈,崇祀祂的內埔昌黎祠,卻被佛教徒所救,此誠歷史佳話。演自今日,內埔昌黎祠每年一度的「韓愈文化祭」,成為地方盛典,使韓愈名聲維持不墜,唯於其祭祀意涵不無可討論之處。筆者主張恢復崇德報功的傳統,振興客家文化,繼承優秀的中華文化,以為今日崇祀韓愈的文化內涵。本文分七章,分述韓昌黎生平、潮洲韓文公祠、內埔昌黎祠的形式,包括創建、祀典、管理、內涵包括中華文化客家文化等問題聯結以作探析,文獻方面使用方志及相關資料,特別使用田野調查法,此為本論文努力所在。
Changli Temple, located in the Neipu Township of Pingdong country, is a symbol of the Liutui of Hakka’s civilization in the Southern Taiwan. Han Yu was demoted to Chaozhou, where he revered Confucianism, developed education, and had a significant effect with culture and education emphasized and had a good contribution in Chaozhou. Therefore, Chaozhou’s people built a temple to commemorate Han Yu, and the temple is jam-packed with believers. The Hakka’s ancestors immigrated to Taiwan and formed the areas of Liutui in the south in Qing Dynasty. Afterwards, the culture transplant from the former township to Taiwan, the Changli Temple is set up, act as the responsibility of local culture and education, and it is a folk form of old-style private school, after establishing in the daw kwang reign, the ones that cooperate with Imperial Examination Foundation and get the subsidization, where breed many advanced candidates, presented scholars, and get the feedback from Imperial Examination Foundation, too. Imperial Examinations was abolished in the end of Qing Dynasty, the new form school rises, the function of Changli Temple only remain offered sacrifices. When Taiwan was ceded to Japan, Changli Temple is nearly confined and destroyed by fire without Buddhist, Liu yui mei’s protect, Han Yu was opposed to Buddhism in his whole life, and Neipu’s Changli temple that offer sacriffices to him, which was rescued by Buddhist, this is sincerely a historical good tale. Since today, Neipu’s Changli Temple holds “The Cultural Rite For Han Yu” every year that become a grand ceremony in Neipu, and keep Han Yu’s reputation high, only the meaning of offering sacrifices which we can talk about. I maintain that reinstate the tradition of advocating moral conducts and reporting virtues, promoting Hakka''s culture, inheriting outstanding Chinese culture, are the cultural intension of offering sacrifices to Han Yu today. This thesis divides into seven chapters, narrates the life of Changli Han, Temple of Han Wen Gong in Chaozhou, the form of Neipu’s Changli Temple, including establishment, offering sacriffices, management, intension which include China''s culture and Hakka''s culture., etc. that are combining to analyse, the document uses local records and relevant materials, especially use the investigation method in the field, and that is the diligent part of the thesis.
